There is no cost to qualified clients for
services offered by Interior Weatherization,
Inc.

Our office is located in Fairbanks at 713 15th

When are you open to
receive applications? We accept
applications Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., closed from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for
lunch. Before submitting an application, it's a
good idea to call our office and ensure that you
are bringing in all the needed documentation.
Please allow enough time when you drop off the
application (up to 30 minutes) for us to
accurately process your application.
Who should I contact to
receive an application? Call our
client intake specialist at 452-5323 ext 0 and
she will mail you an application. Or you can
pick up an application at our office anytime
during office hours or download the application
from this web site.

but don't know how to fill it out, what should
I do? Contact our client intake
specialist and she will assist you as needed.
Can I submit my
application online? At this time we
can only accept applications submitted in person
or by mail.

We have assisted Alaskans with energy
conservation needs since 1985. In that time we
have weatherized over 4,000 homes.
Is Interior
Weatherization, Inc. a government agency?
No, Interior Weatherization, Inc. is a private,
not-for-profit company. We do receive grants
from state and federal sources.
Is it better to wait until
winter to apply, so you can see how cold my
house is? The best time to apply is
now. We assess and work on homes year-round.
Please bring specific problems (icing, frozen
pipes, cold, etc.) to the assessor's attention.
